#IshaBlender – Daughter of Reggae Stalwart Everton Blender to Launch Debut EP

Contributed Article – With over a decade’s worth of experience within the music industry, Isha Blender has graced some of the world’s most popular stages and performed in front of thousands alongside her father. Add that to previous work with a few of reggae’s most elite including Turbulence, the ‘Fireman’ Capleton, Willie Lindo & Stone Love, and one will conclude that Isha knows what it takes to win the hearts of many through good sounds and positive vibrations. Not only does she know it; she has it.

This songstress’ pen has written some solid anthems and her dulcet tones chime riveting tunes, ranging from love and lust to social commentary and pain. By the same token, ‘Epiphany’ is packed with something for everyone, with each track carrying a different message.

In contemplation about the EP’s ethos, Isha states: “the very definition of the title is great revelation. I feel like I am at turning point in my career and life, where it’s time for me to officially, fearlessly share myself with the world. This record is a piece of my heart, gift-wrapped for all lovers of good music”.

The project’s debut single ‘Tonight’ (released April 22) is enjoying extensive airplay on stations such as Hot 102 FM (JA), Suncity (JA), Mystic Radio (UK) and Hot 105 (USA). Whilst the song has also been entered into the UK’s only official reggae chart, international news publications such as United Reggae (EU) and The Voice newspaper (UK) have picked up on her phenomenal talent. Isha is currently undergoing a promotional tour in Jamaica, where it all began for her.

Born and raised in the bountiful countryside of Clarendon – home to some of the Island’s most gifted musicians – Isha Blender recorded her first song at the age of 10. She now resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
